Planning, Zoning, and Subdivision Review Series

Penn State Harrisburg will offer The Course in Community Planning, May 2, 6:00-9:30 p.m., and May 9 & 16, 6:00-9:00 p.m. It is the first course in the Planning, Zoning, and Subdivision Review Series comprising courses in municipal planning designed for municipal officials, planning commissions, zoning hearing boards, citizens, and the corporate community.  Each course provides in-depth information officials need to carry out their responsibilities and do an effective job. The 10-hour courses are designed to get officials “up-to-speed” more quickly, so they can contribute to the work of their commissions or boards and serve their community. The Planning, Zoning, and Subdivision Review Series was developed by the Pennsylvania Planning Association (PPA) and the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute (PMPEI). Courses are taught by Certified PMPEI instructors, qualified practitioners who have completed an intensive training program that prepares them to teach each of the courses.  For more information about this and upcoming courses, or to register, call Marianne DiMatteo at (717) 948-6282 or visit http://www.hbg.psu.edu/ce . This program is an outreach service of the Penn State Harrisburg School of Public Affairs
